MSMHS Enters Unplanned Lockdown, Police Respond
After an unplanned lockdown, administrators are taking stock of the effectiveness of current safety procedures, while also emphasizing successful aspects of the day’s events. The lockdown was triggered by a one-touch emergency system found on wall-mounted phones around the school, and it is currently unclear who initiated the lockdown.
MSMHS Aquaculture Hosts First-Ever Coral Fair
On Saturday, December 9, the Marine Science aquaculture department hosted a “Coral College” coral show, where students, local vendors, and educators came together to sell corals and learn about coral aquaculture. The show, held in partnership with the Boston Reefers Society, was the first coral show held at MSMHS.
